Privacy Policy
Last updated 14 September 2026
This policy explains how LefamTech, Lda, a company registered in Mozambique, handles personal data when you visit appvise.ai, create an Appvise account, or use our web and mobile services. Contact us at privacy@appvise.ai.
1. Our role
We are the controller for data about Appvise visitors, account holders, and customers. When a customer uses Appvise to collect or store personal data in an app, the customer decides why and how that data is used. The customer is the controller and Appvise is its processor under our Data Processing Addendum. If you use an app built by one of our customers, contact that app's owner first about your data.
2. Data we collect
- Account and workspace data: name, email address, sign-in method, profile details, workspace membership, role, and settings.
- Billing data: plan, purchases, invoices, transaction status, and billing contact details. Appvise does not receive your full card number.
- Customer Content: prompts, messages, generated code and output, app definitions, database records, files, images, and data you or your app's end-users submit. Connection credentials are also processed when you choose to connect an external service.
- Usage and technical data: IP address, approximate country, browser, device and operating-system details, pages and features used, logs, usage counts, and crash or performance data.
- Communications: support requests, abuse reports, feedback, and other messages you send us.
- Website and campaign data: cookie identifiers, consent choices, referral pages, campaign parameters, and advertising click identifiers.
We collect this data from you, your workspace administrator, people who use your apps, services you connect, and the providers that help us operate Appvise.
3. How and why we use data
- to create accounts and provide, host, bill, and support the service;
- to generate and run the apps and AI features you request;
- to secure Appvise, prevent abuse, and investigate incidents;
- to diagnose problems and understand how the product is used;
- to communicate about the service and respond to requests; and
- to comply with law and enforce our agreements.
Where a legal basis is required, we rely on performance of our contract, our legitimate interests in operating and securing Appvise, your consent for optional cookies or marketing, and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time.
4. AI processing
Appvise sends the prompts, code, files, or images needed for a requested AI feature to managed AI providers. The provider depends on the feature and plan. Appvise does not use Customer Content to train its own models or for advertising, and we use commercial API services that do not train on that content by default. Current AI providers are listed in the DPA.
5. When we share data
We share only what is needed with:
- Infrastructure and AI providers that host Appvise, store data, send email, monitor errors, and run requested AI features;
- Polar Software, Inc., our billing provider and merchant of record, which uses payment processors such as Stripe;
- Google when you choose Google sign-in, and third-party services you choose to connect to an app;
- PostHog for EU-hosted product analytics and Sentry for crash and performance monitoring; and
- Meta, Google Ads, Reddit, LinkedIn, and TikTok for campaign measurement through browser technologies controlled by your cookie choices. We also send server-side account registration, checkout, and purchase events to Meta independently of those choices, as explained below.
We may also disclose data when required by law, to protect people or the service, or as part of a merger, financing, or sale of the business. An app owner may make app content public or share it with people they invite.
We do not sell personal data for money. Some laws define advertising measurement as a "sale" or "sharing". Our cookie controls govern browser tracking. Contact privacy@appvise.ai about rights relating to server-side data sharing.
6. Cookies and privacy choices
Essential cookies keep you signed in, protect forms, remember settings, and keep the service working. Optional browser analytics and advertising technologies help us understand product use and measure our own campaigns. In regions where consent is required, optional technologies stay off until you opt in. Elsewhere, they may run until you opt out.
opens your choices and lets you change them at any time. Global Privacy Control and browser Do Not Track signals turn off optional browser analytics and advertising.
Separately, our servers send account registration, checkout, and purchase events to Meta for campaign measurement, including when you have not accepted optional cookies, have declined advertising, or have enabled Global Privacy Control. These events may include hashed email and account identifiers, transaction value and currency, and available request details such as IP address, browser, and page URL. Optional advertising cookie identifiers are included only when your advertising preference allows them. Changing cookie settings does not stop these server-side events.
7. International processing
We operate from Mozambique and use providers in the European Union, the United States, and other countries. Data may therefore be processed outside your country. Where required, we use contractual or other recognised safeguards for international transfers.
8. Retention and deletion
We keep account data and Customer Content while the account or workspace is active and as needed to provide the service. You can delete projects, content, or your account using the controls available in Appvise. Deletion removes data from active systems; limited copies may remain temporarily in logs, backups, or fraud and security records until they expire. We retain billing, legal, and support records for as long as reasonably needed for those purposes or required by law.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; and complain to a data-protection authority. Email privacy@appvise.ai to exercise a right. We may need to verify your identity.
For data inside a customer's app, contact the app owner. We will assist the owner with a valid request. We do not use personal data to make solely automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.
10. Security
We use technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the service, including encryption in transit, access controls, project separation, monitoring, and controlled handling of credentials. No online service is completely secure, so please use a strong sign-in method and report suspected account misuse promptly.
11. Connected Google accounts
When you connect a Google account to an app you build with Appvise, we ask only for the permissions the features you use need: your basic profile and email address, to label the connection in your settings; access to the specific Google Sheets you pick, so your app can read and write rows in those spreadsheets; and, where you enable it, access to the Google Calendar you name, so your app can create and manage events on it. We use Google user data only to perform the actions your app requests, we store the access credentials encrypted, and we do not sell Google user data or share it with third parties except the sub-processors that run the service. You can disconnect the account at any time in your settings or through your Google Account permissions, and we delete the stored credentials when you disconnect, delete the project, or delete your account. Appvise's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
12. Children
Appvise accounts are not intended for anyone under 18. A customer that makes an app available to children is responsible for the notices, consent, safeguards, and age rules that apply to that app.
13. Changes and contact
We will post changes here and update the date above. If a change materially affects how we use personal data, we will provide additional notice where required. Send questions or requests to privacy@appvise.ai.
